1. Acceptance of Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the SOLAT website, Tube-Mate, and any other SOLAT products or services (collectively, the "Services"). By accessing or using our Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use the Services.

2. Who We Are

SOLAT is an AI consulting and product company that builds intelligent systems, including tools like Tube-Mate, to help people and organisations think smarter, work better, and learn faster.

3. Use of the Services

3.1 Eligibility

To use the Services, you must:

• Be at least 13 years of age; and
• Use the Services only in compliance with applicable laws and these Terms.

3.2 Account responsibilities

If you create an account for Tube-Mate or any SOLAT product, you are responsible for:

• Maintaining the confidentiality of your login details
• All activity that occurs under your account
• Notifying us promptly if you suspect unauthorised access or misuse

3.3 Acceptable use and AI usage rules

You agree not to use the Services to:

• Generate, share, or promote illegal, harmful, abusive, harassing, hateful, or discriminatory content
• Infringe or violate the intellectual property or privacy rights of others
• Misrepresent AI-generated content as factual, professional, or authoritative advice (legal, medical, financial, migration, or otherwise)
• Scrape, harvest, or misuse data from third-party platforms, including YouTube, in violation of their terms
• Submit malicious code, malware, or harmful content
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, probe, or interfere with the security or integrity of the Services
• Circumvent any rate limits, access controls, or usage restrictions we may impose

4. AI Content Disclaimer

SOLAT products, including Tube-Mate, use artificial intelligence to generate summaries, suggestions, and other content based on your inputs. AI-generated outputs may be incomplete, inaccurate, or outdated, and should not be relied upon as a sole source of truth.

The Services do not provide professional advice of any kind, including but not limited to legal, financial, medical, or migration advice. You are solely responsible for how you use and interpret AI-generated content and for any decisions or actions you take based on it.

5. Intellectual Property

All rights, title, and interest in and to the Services, including but not limited to software, code, models, designs, branding, logos, and documentation, are owned by SOLAT or its licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws.

Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to access and use the Services for your personal or internal business purposes.

You retain ownership of any content you upload or submit to the Services, but you grant SOLAT a licence to process, store, and use such content to operate, maintain, and improve the Services.

You must not copy, modify, distribute, sell, resell, or create derivative works of the Services or any part of them without our prior written consent.

6. Payments and Subscriptions

Some SOLAT products or features may be offered as paid services, subscriptions, or plans. Where this is the case:

• Prices and billing terms will be displayed at the point of purchase.
• Payments are processed securely by providers such as Stripe or Paystack, and you authorise them to charge your selected payment method.
• We may change pricing or subscription terms with reasonable notice.
• Failure to pay fees when due may result in suspension or termination of access to paid features.

Any specific refund or cancellation terms for a given product or plan will be communicated at purchase and form part of these Terms.

7. Service Availability and Changes

We aim to provide reliable, high-quality Services, but we do not guarantee:

• Uninterrupted or error-free operation
• That the Services will meet your specific requirements or expectations
• That data will never be lost or corrupted

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Services at any time, with or without notice, including for maintenance, product changes, or other reasons.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, SOLAT and its directors, employees, and partners shall not be liable for any:

• Indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages
• Loss of profits, revenue, or business opportunities
• Loss or corruption of data
• Damages arising from your reliance on AI-generated content, including Tube-Mate summaries
• Issues caused by third parties, including platforms such as YouTube, browser vendors, or extension ecosystems

Our total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to the Services shall be limited, in aggregate, to the greater of: (a) the amount you paid for the Services in the twelve (12) months prior to the event giving rise to the claim, or (b) one hundred pounds sterling (£100).

9. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless SOLAT and its officers, employees, and partners from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including legal fees) arising out of or in connection with:

• Your use of the Services
• Content you submit or generate using the Services
• Your violation of these Terms
• Your violation of any applicable law or regulation

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Services, in whole or in part, at any time and without liability if:

• You breach these Terms
• You misuse or abuse the Services
• We are required to do so by law or a regulatory authority
• Continuing to provide the Services is no longer commercially or technically viable

You may stop using the Services at any time. If you wish to request account deletion, please contact us at contact@solat.io.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top indicates the most recent version. Where changes are material, we may notify you via the website, by email, or through in-product notices. Your continued use of the Services after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
